Introduction

Methyl Propyl ethanol is known. Isobutyl acetate is produced from isobutanol with acetic acid. Like many esters, the odor is like a flower or fruit in low concentrations and naturally occurs in raspberries, pears and other plants.

Harms

At higher concentrations, odor can be unpleasant and may cause symptoms of a center of the nervous system of depression such as disgust, dizziness, and headache.

The liquid may irritate the eyes and may irritate the skin. It is highly flammable and easily ignited by heat, sparks or flames.
