Introduction

Butylated acetate is neutral, colorless and odorless. Excellent solvent butyl acetate for nitrocellulose, cellulose ethers, cellulose, chlorinated tires, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, hoseflex, polystyrene, polyacrylates, most of the neutral resin, lubricants and oils. Butyl acetate is one of the most important volatile solvents due to its high solvent power and high dilution capacity.

Application

Butyl acetate can be used to produce essential oils, perfumes, spots and colored paper. Butyl acetate is commonly used in combination with butanol.

It also consumes a lot in compound lacquers and can be used to disperse the isocyanate component in polyurethane varnishes.
